LANE KIFFIN
Welcome to the SEC. Mere hours after he was named the head football coach at Tennessee, Lane Kiffin has been accused of a recruiting violation by fellow SEC coach Steve Spurrier of South Carolina.
Kiffin reportedly placed a phone call to a Tennesse recruit one day before he officially received the Volunteers’ job. Spurrier says since Kiffin has not passed an NCAA mandated test he is technically not able to recruit yet. Kiffin responded that he took the test last week.
