Following Sunday’s victory by Minnesota over the Detroit Lions, Fox television decided to go live to the Vikings locker room where owner Zygi Wilf was making a dramatic presentation of the game ball to his coach, Brad Childress. Childress was singled out because his son is serving in Iraq.
During the presentation, Fox production officials failed to notice the left portion of their screen. Specifically the FULL FRONTAL male nudity. Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe appeared naked in Fox’s live shot. Profootballtalk.com originally posted an unedited photo of the incident but eventually took it down. Fox Sports apologized for the incident but may still face a fine from the FCC.
