Jesus! You know Hollywood sucks when they can ruin the image of Yogi Bear.

The same people who made the Scooby Doo movies have announced their plans for a “half live-action and half CGI” full length theatrical release of a “Yogi Bear” movie. The film will be based on the old Hanna-Barbera cartoon and be set in the fictional Jellystone Park. The Hollywood Reporter is saying the movie will probably be filmed in 3-D.

Kill me. I’m sure Freddie Prinze Jr.’s career will have fallen to the point that he can play Boo-Boo when the movie comes out in 2011.
