LANCE BURTON
In his Sunday column, Las Vegas Review-Journal gossip columnist Norm Clarke points out that Vegas headliner Lance Burton’s contract with the Monte Carlo casino expires next week. Clark says there’s no word whether Burton will re-sign with the Monte Carlo or possibly even retire.
Burton’s publicist issued a firm “no comment” to Clarke on the magician’s future. Burton is 49 but has been performing in Las Vegas for 27 years. Burton is currently nursing a foot injury after falling off the stage chasing one of his parakeets.
