EPIC PAT BUCHANAN FAIL: PHOTOGRAPHED TALKING TO “WHITE NATIONALIST” INTERNET NUT UNDER MISSPELLED BANNER AT “ENGLISH ONLY” CONFERENCE

Heres a tip. If you’re going to host an “English Only” conference, you should probably spell all the words that are in ENGLISH correctly on your welcoming banner.

Wonkette.com came up with this gem. Noted “white-guys-are-a-persecuted-minority” spokesman Pat Buchanan was photographed standing next to self-avowed “White Nationalist” Peter Brimelow at an “English Only” conference sponsored by The American Cause this weekend. Brimelow runs a white nationalist Internet website.

The photo is no John Wayne Gacy/Rosalynn Carter accident-of-history. It wasn’t as if Buchanan was  just standing around and some white nationalist Internet nut walked up and had his picture taken with him. Buchanan HOSTED the conference and he invited Brimelow to be one of its panelists.

Thinkprogress.com actually attended the event and got some very scary audio. Brimelow urges attacking affirmative action programs as a way to attract “young whites” and “yellow people.” Brimelow had previously said it was “suicidal” for “any white man” to vote for Barack Obama.

Brimelow was probably brought in as a panelist since Executive Director Marcus Epstein, who usually serves as a panelist at TAC events, isn’t doing much public speaking on race  these days. Epstein is trying to lower his profile since he is about to be sentenced in two weeks after pleading guilty to racial assault charges in Washington D.C.

Epstein apparently drunkenly called an African-American woman, who just happened to be walking down the same street, the N-word before hitting her on the head with a karate chop. The bizarre incident was witnessed by a Secret Service agent.
