PACMAN JONES PARTIES AT MINXX STRIP CLUB IN LAS VEGAS ALL-STAR WEEKEND 2007
The Las Vegas Review-Journal is running an expose on details of the shooting that left a Nevada man paralyzed following a melee at a Vegas strip club during All-Star Weekend in 2007. You’ll recall, that incident involved controversial NFL cornerback Pacman Jones. The disappointing article ran today. There’s not much new information in the first of a three-part series, although the paper does say the fight between Jones and bouncers from the Minxx strip club was “racially charged.” That’s definitely new information.
The RJ did manage to unearth the classic picture (above) of Pacman Jones “Making it Rain.” The photo was taken the night of the shooting. Although Jones was never charged in the incident, and Metro police and the District Attorney’s Office say he cooperated in the investigation, the former NFL player was at the Minxx Gentlemen’s Club the night of the shooting and was involved in a fight.
The shooter has never been found in the case. The club has since gone out of business.
