KELLY PAVLIK
WBO and WBC middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik has withdrawn from next month’s boxing match versus challenger Paul Williams. Pavlik is suffering from a reported staph infection in his finger.
The finger is exactly what the Williams camp is giving Pavlik. This is the second time a proposed Pavlik/Williams fight has been postponed. Williams’ manager was furious. George Peterson accused Pavlik of faking his injury,
“There’s no injury, he just needs a heart transplant.”
