The New York tabloids love a good sex scandal. Actually, who doesn’t.
ESPN baseball analyst Steve Phillips is getting absolutely buried after details of his affair with a 22-year-old production assistant came out on Wednesday. Lurid personal details about Phillips, his family, his sex life, and even his genitalia have been spilled all over the New York tabloids. However, that’s nothing compared to the girl he had the affair with. Brooke Hundley has been referred to in print and online as “loony,” “delusional,” and “a stalker” as well as “psycho.”
The New York Daily News also went looking for the woman that Phillips had an affair with back in 1998. They have a feature on her today. Like Hundley, she’s no looker either.

Now, the national media is piling on Phillips as well-including the parent company of his own employer, ABC News.
Phillips has taken a leave of absence from ESPN since the affair was discovered. His wife has filed for divorce.
