Washingtonan.com is reporting that one of the Style editors of the Washington Post “punched out” a reporter last Friday. In the paper’s newsroom.
Post editor Henry Allen was reaming two writers for a piece he called “total crap” and ”the second worst story I have seen in Style in 43 years.” Manuel Roig-Franzia defended himself, concluding,”Oh, Henry, don’t be such a c***sucker!”
Whereupon Allen, a former Marine in Vietnam, threw Roig-Franzia to the floor, raining punches on him. Allen is nearly 70-years-old,
