Several media outlets are painting Carmelo Anthony’s wife, former MTV VJ and reality tv actress LaLa Vazquez, as the villain in his possible departure from the Denver Nuggets.

The Denver Post bitterly reported that “league sources” are saying Vazquez is demanding Anthony play basketball in either New York or Los Angeles. Vazquez recently talked to the Daily News saying the New York market is a “possibility” for her husband. Trade talks between the New Jersey Nets and the Denver Nuggets involving a four-team swap sending Anthony to New Jersey may be ongoing despite earlier reports that the rumored deal was “dead.”

The story of Lala Vazquez versus the Dallas Mavericks fans will not go away. That’s probably because its not every day that a celebrity who appears on a show called “Charm School” punches a fan in the face and gets caught on video (below) being removed from an arena.

In an interview with the website momlogic.com, the fiance of Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony accuses Dallas basketball fans of not only yelling racial slurs at her during the Nuggets/Mavericks playoff series, but calling her two-year-old son a “bastard.”

Vazquez says Dallas fans sitting behind her at Game 4 began chanting “f*** the Nuggets.” She says as the game went on and the fans got “drunker” they began dropping N-bombs, calling the Nugget players “N****s.” Vazquez says the chanting got out of hand when the Dallas fans began calling Vazquez and Anthony’s two-year-old son a “bastard” while the child was at the game. The taunting got so bad, that Vazquez had the boy’s nanny remove him from the arena.
