Gawker.com just did a Memorial Day weekend post on how the hottest topic on Google Trends was the Old Navy Flip Flops Sale. Apparently, people are trampling each other for $1 flip flops at Old Navy.
Twitter (now the way most stupid people get their news) has a tweet from New Jersey that says people are waiting in line for up to an hour for flip flops there. Another tweet says people are getting into fights over $1 shoes.
