IN ADDITION TO ASSISTANT COACHES, RAIDERS COACH TOM CABLE BEAT LOTS OF WOMEN
Three women who were involved in past relationships with Oakland Raiders coach Tom Cable say he physically abused them. The allegations of domestic abuse were made by both of Cable’s ex-wives and revealed by the ESPN tv show “Outside the Lines.”
Cable’s first wife and a recent girlfriend both went on-camera to accuse Cable of physical abuse. A third woman, Cable’s recently-divorced second wife, did not go on the air but alleged domestic abuse by the coach in her divorce papers. She has actually come forth to defend Cable since the story broke of his “history of violence.”
“Outside the Lines” says that history of violence by Cable against women dates back to the 1980′s and has continued with incidents against the former girlfriend happening recently. The show investigated Cable’s “anger” issues after he apparently broke the jaw of assistant coach Randy Hanson this summer.
