A group of scientists from South Korea has managed to clone four beagle puppies that actually glow in the dark. They are being called the world’s first transgenic dogs.

The scientists used DNA from sea anemones to give the puppies a fluorescent protein. This makes the dogs glow-in-the-dark and appear red under ultraviolet light.

The puppies were written about in an article in New Scientist magazine.
