TOPPS BECOMES THE ONLY BASEBALL CARD COMPANY LEFT

 

The New York Times is one of several media sources reporting that Topps has signed an exclusive deal to become the “official” trading card of Major League Baseball.

The deal will make Topps the only company to be able to use MLB teams and logos on its cards.

 

 

Topps is currently owned by former Disney head Michael Eisner. Right now, Upper Deck also makes baseball trading cards but this deal effectively puts them out of business.
