The final numbers are trickling in on last Saturday’s Manny Pacquiao/Miguel Cotto fight. According to promoter Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s dominant victory generated  1.25 million pay-per-view buys.

That makes the fight the largest pay-per-view  event of the year, bigger than anything else in boxing or UFC. With a retail price of $54.95, that means a ppv gross of approximately $70 million. Since the Pacquiao/Arum camp receives 65% of the gross, that males their haul a cool $45.5 million (not including the live gate or merchandising.)
