AROLDIS CHAPMAN
Brilliant young rookie pitcher Aroldis Chapman of the Cincinnatti Reds set a Major League record Friday night when one of his pitches was clocked at 105 miles-per-hour. That’s the fastest pitch ever recorded in big league history.
The 105 MPH pitch was no fluke. Chapman hit 105 in the minors a month ago.
