WILLIE MAYS AIKENS

Willie Mays Aikens has been hired as a minor league hitting coach for the Kansas City Royals. Aikens was the starting first baseman for the Royals in 1980 when they lost to the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series. Aikens hit four home runs in that series.

Aikens later spent 14 years in federal prison after being convicted on drug and weapons charges.
