Even Utah papers taunt Gordon Hayward’s cheapness

In an article in the Salt Lake City newspaper The Deseret News, Utah Jazz rookie Gordon Hayward described his team’s recent road trip to New York city. The notoriously cheap Hayward then told the newspaper about eating at Olive Garden on his trip to The Big Apple and how he waited 40 minutes to do so.

Hayward makes $2,356,320 a year. The paper then kids the former Butler star about being “penny-pinching” and desribes how he drives a Honda.
