Jimmer goes off!

Brigham Young Universty basketball star Jimmer Fredette had a career-high 52 points Friday night as the Cougars defeated New Mexico 87-76 in the Mountain West Conference Tournament semifinals. BYU will now play San Diego State in the Mountain West finals.

The 52 points was an all-time BYU record. Fredette also broke the all-time Brigham Young career scoring record that was held by Danny Ainge. He also set the all-time Thomas & Mack and MWC tournament scoring records.
