BABYMAMA SUSPECT 1: DANICA MENDIVIL

BABYMAMA SUSPECT 2: JAYCI STEPHEN

Oh, boy. The Brandon Davies story just got more interesting. This week Davies was the most talked about player in college basketball. He was suspended by the Brigham Young University basketball team for violating the school’s honor code. Davies admitted to having sex out of wedlock.

Following Davies’ suspension, there were reports that the BYU center got his girlfriend pregnant. Now it appears the question is, “Which girlfriend?” Initially, Davies’ girlfriend was reported to be ASU volleyball player Danica Mendivil. Mendivil went to high school in Utah where she was named the state’s athlete of the year while keeping a 3.98 GPA.

Davies and Mendivil have been dating for the past couple of years. However, it appears Davies cheated on her. A website called Frathousesports.com is reporting the real Davies babymama is a Utah Valley State student named Jayci Stephen. Frathousesports even posted some of the girl’s Tweets where Stephen comments about whether or not she’s a virgin and her affinity towards “tall black men.”

BRANDON DAVIES

The talk of the college basketball world this week has been BYU jeopardizing their National Championship aspirations by suspending big man Brandon Davies. Brigham Young said Davies had violated the school’s honor code. Although they didn’t elaborate, BYU acknowledged that the Davies suspension was not over “a criminal matter.”

According to the radio station 1280 The Zone in Salt Lake City, speculation is the suspension may have come as a result of Davies getting his girlfriend pregnant. Having sex without being married is a violation of the BYO honor code. Then again, so is drinking a cup of coffee.

ESPN.com ran a headline Wednesday night entitled, “Davies Reportedly Booted for Having Sex.”

Tuesday, the Mountain West Conference reprimanded Alford for his comments.
