Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki reportedly has “woman problems.”
The CBS affiliate in Dallas is reporting that the German forward’s 37-year-old girlfriend has been arrested on fraud charges. Cristal Taylor is said to have at least eight aliases. She currently lives with Nowitzki and the couple is said to be engaged. The Yahoo! Sports blog “Ball Don’t Lie” says reports are Nowitzki got Taylor pregnant.
The story has blown up in the Dallas media. The timing of the story also coudn’t come at a worse time. The Mavericks trail Denver 2-0 in their NBA playoff series. You’ll recall Nowitzki blasted teammate Josh Howard at this time last year. At the time, Nowitzki said Howard’s admission of marijuana smoking was a “distraction” during the playoffs.
