Lecharles Bentley Lawsuit

LECHARLES BENTLEY

Former Pro Bowl offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley had his career cut short after signing with the Cleveland Browns. Bentley picked up a career-ending staph infection at the team’s medical facilityafter being operated on by Browns doctors. Bentley never played a snap with Cleveland after signing a six-year, $36 million contract. He contracted the staph infection after a minor knee operation and almost died.

Bentley’s lawyers are suing the club citing unsanitary medical conditions. Other Browns contracted staph infections at the team’s practice facility too. Wide receiver Joe Jurevicius retired after he got a staph infection from the Browns. He’s suing the Browns as well and that doesn’t even include the story about Kellen Winslow Jr.’s testicles.
