The assassination of Michael Jordan’s character by the coward Scottie Pippen

May 28, 2011

SCOTTIE PIPPEN

Scottie Pippen should die of shame. Unfortunately, since he’s already beat women, commited crimes (repeatedly) and been the most gutless quitter in basketball history with no remorse, there’s little chance of that.

Friday, Pippen said in an ESPN Radio interview that 0-time NBA champion LeBron James was be a better all-around player than his former teammate, Michael Jordan. You know, the SIX-time champion. The greatest basketball player who ever live. The guy who was named the greatest athlete in American (world) history.

The exact phrase Pippen used was, “LeBron James is probably the greatest player to ever play the game.” This is after James and the Miami Heat eliminated HIS Bulls to advance to the NBA Finals.

What a joke! Jordan won all six of those NBA titles. Pippen was an accident of history who was merely along for the ride. While Jordan won six NBA Finals MVP awards, Pippen never even received a single MVP vote. Not even in 1991 when he had his best series against the Lakers.

Pippen’s backstabbing of Jordan was greeted with universal outrage and scorn in the city of Chicago. Hell, around the world. To compound the indignity, Pippen originally Tweeted how he stood behind is statement. However, as the day progressed, Pippen continued to shrink and back away from his Jordan-bashing comments. Typical Pippen. Folding like a paper napkin under pressure.

What an ungreatful dick. Jordan made Pippen everything he is today. Maybe that’s the problem. Pippen is an overrated, flat broke, woman-beating coward whose actions “stink of an MJ complex.”

How wrong was Pippen in his assessment? Here’s an informal sample, Darren Rovell of CNBC ran a Twitter poll on the Jordan/James debate in which %94.6 of voters picked Jordan.

UNDERAGE JORDAN KIDS BLOW $56,000 IN VEGAS THIS WEEKEND

August 23, 2010

MARCUS JORDAN

Michael Jordan’s two sons apparently had quite a wild weekend in Las Vegas. Marcus Jordan even Tweeted about blowing $56,000. The problem? Both Marcus and Jeffrey Jordan are under 21. Another problem-that wasn’t even Jordan’s biggest waste of money this weekend.

Jordan can obviously afford his kids running up a $56,000 tab on his credit card. More of a problem is he’s apparently throwing good money after bad on Kwame Brown. Jordan, now the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats,  re-signed the bust forward. You’ll recall Brown as the cake-throwing softie who made Jordan a failure as the Washington Wizards GM. Jordan selected Brown with the first pick in the 2001 NBA Draft straight out of high school.

NOT AGAIN?!? JORDAN RE-SIGNS STIFF KWAME BROWN

MICHAEL JORDAN: I WOULD RATHER BEAT MAGIC AND LARRY THAN JOIN THEM

MICHAEL JORDAN: IF YOU CAN’T JOIN ‘EM, BEAT ‘EM

NBA legend Michael Jordan basically just called LeBron James a loser. Charles Barkley did too. Meanwhile, Lebron’s new teammate Dwyane Wade just insulted 9/11 survivors.

Jordan told Ken Berger of CBS Sports , “There’s no way … I wouldv’e ever called up Larry (Bird), called up Magic (Johnson) and said, ‘Hey, look, let’s get together and play on one team.” Jordan said he was simply “trying tobeat those guys.”

Another former NBA superstar, Charles Barkley, concurred. Barkley ripped James for leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers, saying other players should have joined James since he’s the two-time MVP. Barley told the Arizona Republic that James’ move was “ridiculous.”

Wade meanwhile idiotically compared the possibility of the Miami Heat losing two or three games in a row to the collapse of the World Trade Center. Yikes! Wade apologized Monday for his comments.

MICHAEL JORDAN CALLED OUT FOR “HITLER MUSTACHE”

June 10, 2010

MICHAEL JORDAN: WHY ALL THE FUHRER?

Actor Ashton Kutcher and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel derided basketball legend Michael Jordan for having a “Hitler mustache” this week. They’re not the only ones who noticed. Comedian Jay Mohr Tweeted about the same topic. Jordan sported the  new stache in his latest Hanes underwear commercial.

Even longtime Jordan friend Charles Barkley has blasted the mustache calling it, “one of the stupidest things I have seen.”

LEAST SURPRISING STORY IN HISTORY: JERRY KRAUSE SAYS HE AND MJ STILL “AREN’T CLOSE”

September 6, 2009

JERRY KRAUSE

Former Chicago Bulls general manager Jerry Krause is an accident of history. He just happened to be sitting in the GM chair when both Houston and Portland passed on Michael Jordan in the 1984 NBA Draft. Jordan fell into his lap (or rather lack thereof) and the rest, as they say, is history. Michael Jordan and the Bulls won six NBA Championships. Exactly 0.00% of that is attributable to Krause.

However, Chicago sports fans don’t remember Krause for the championships he (Jordan) won. They despise him for the ones they didn’t win but could have. Jabba The Bull famously jettisoned Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson following the team’s sixth NBA Championship and second Three-peat in 1998.

Krause recently did an interview with the Boston Globe. He admitted to the paper that he and Jordan “were not close and we’re not close today.”

Geeze, no kidding. Is it because:

A) You cheated the city of Chicago, Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan out of even more championships

B) You repeatedly screwed Jordan out of money. He never made as much money from the Bulls as he did from Nike and actually took PAY CUTS on multiple occassions so that the the team could add players

C) You rewarded his years of loyal service and six banners by crapping all over him to save money

or

D) you ruined the Bulls franchise so badly after his departure that they still haven’t gotten over it

Actually, the correct answer is either E) “all of the above” or F) Krause won’t stop lying about Jordan, Jackson et al in a feeble effort to make his legacy look better.

Krause tells the Globe, for instance, that Jordan “wanted to take Joe Wolf” of North Carolina the year that HE drafted Pippen. This is a lie. The Bulls never drafted Pippen. Seattle did with the fifth pick in the 1987 Draft.

Krause also badmouthed Bulls coach Phil Jackson so badly that, according to no less an author than David Halberstam, by 1998, he promised the Zen Master, “I don’t care if it’s 82-and-0 this year, you’re f#@*&ing  gone.”

Not only did Krause run Jackson out of town, but he dumped Jordan and Pippen as well. AFTER they won a sixth championship. Krause said he didn’t want to end up “like the Jazz” or the Celtics (you know, reward Hall-of-Fame players for their years of loyal service.) Krause then uttered the most memorably inaccurate phrase in the history of sports. Referring to Jordan, Krause proclaimed, “Players don’t win championships. Organizations do.”

That’s great. It infers that Jordan and Jackson had nothing to do with Chicago’s success. It was all Jerry Krause, baby. Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf idiotically sided with Krause who managed to hang on for another five years following his little coup d’etat. In those five seasons, the Bulls went 13-37, 17-65, 21-61, and 30-52. That’s a winning percentage of .254 without Jordan.

Krause literally replaced Michael Jordan with Brent Barry. Despite having tons of cap room and high lottery picks every season, Krause was a complete and utter failure. Some organization. Some GM.
