YANKEE PITCHERS FRITZ PETERSON AND MIKE KEKICH TRADED WIVES, KIDS, HOUSES AND DOGS IN 1973

The newest Hollywood baseball movie has a twist. “The Trade” is the true story of New York Yankees pitchers Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich who, in 1973, traded wives. The story received nationwide publicity and symbolized the country’s changes during the sexual revolution of the 1970’s. The movie will be directed by lifetime Boston Red Sox fan Ben Affleck who may or may not play one of the pitchers.

WILL AFFLECK AND DAMON BE FORCED TO DON PINSTRIPES?

Rumors are rampant that Affleck buddy Matt Damon will co-star as either Kekich or Peterson. The script for “The Trade” was written by veteran Seinfeld writer Dave Mandel.
