RICHROD GETS MAN CARD REVOKED

RICH RODRIGUEZ

This is more embarrassing than coaching the Michigan football team to a record and getting your ass kicked by Ohio State.

Beleagured Michigan football coach Rich Rodriguez admitted at a team banquet Thursday that he not only listened to wuss rocker Josh Groban but quoted one of his songs for inspiration and it makes him CRY. A “teary” Rodriguez confessed to wanting to remain “a Michigan man.”

Groban is so insipid that his music has been compared to Lawrence Welk. Even Groban himself took a shot at RichRod onhis Twitter account calling listening to You Raise Me Up “so five years ago.”

STRIP CLUB ADDICTION MAY SEND FORMER NBA GUARD TO PRISON

August 26, 2010

RUMEAL ROBINSON

As a college basketball player, Michigan guard Rumeal Robinson was famous for calmly hitting two free throws with 0.03 seconds left to give a departing Bill Frieder and Michigan the 1989 NCAA title. Robinson was just a sophomore.

As a pro basketball player, Robinson was famous for something else. He’s the guy who regularly spent $20,000 a night, seven nights a week, in various strip clubs. A magazine piece once labeled Robinson a “strip club addict.” Even the New York Times featured Robinson’s tale of woe.

Robinson ended up homeless despite stealing his adoptive mother’s $600,000 home and hawking his $10,000 machine gun.

Now, Robinson faces serious prison time. He is on trial in Iowa facing eight counts of wire and bank fraud. He also allegedly tried to bribe a bank official.

CHRIS FARLEY IN HIS GREATEST ROLE-AS RUMEAL ROBINSON

You may remember the late actor/comedian Chris Farley trying to re-enact Robinson’s free throws in an oh-so-tight #21 Michigan jersey in what was arguably the greatest ESPN promo in history.

MICHIGAN QB WAS KICKED OFF THE TEAM AFTER FAILED COCAINE DEAL

August 10, 2009

JUSTIN FEAGIN

Both ESPN and the Detroit Free Press are reporting that sophomore University of Michigan quarterback-turned wide receiver Justin Feagin’s departure from the football team was due to a cocaine deal gone bad. Feagin was dismissed from the Wolverines in July for what coach Rich Rodriguez termed “a violation of team rules.”

The Free Press ran a story over the weekend detailing how Feagin took $600 from a fellow Michigan student for drugs. Feagin was supposed to use the money to get cocaine from a Florida drug dealer named “Tragic.” He was then to set up the the student as an on-campus dealer in Ann Arbor.

Instead, Feagin stiffed the other student and kept his money. The student then torched Feagin’s dorm room, lighting it on fire and causing over $14,000 in damage.

Feagin had a long criminal history before enrolling at Michigan. He has admitted he “used to sell drugs in Florida.” Feagin was part of Rodriguez’s first recruiting class at Michigan.

ESPN is reporting that Feagin is transferring to Appalachian State and could suit up for their football team this season.
