A 33-year-old player from Pakistan will miss one of the world’s biggest cricket tournaments because he has genital warts. The Pakistan Cricket Board removed Shoaib Akhtar from the upcoming Twenty20 tournament saying his “wounds” will take at least ten days to heal.
Shoaib set a world record when he became the first cricket bowler to ever top 100 MPH twice. However, that may have been performance enhanced. Shoaib tested positive for steroids.
The bad boy of cricket has also had controversies where he was fined 300,000 rupees for swearing and once hit a teammate with a cricket bat.
