CBS REFUSES TO RUN AD FOR NFL PLAYERS UNION

The National Football League is about to lock out its players. The league is refusing to negotiate with the players union in good faith. The latest theory is that the NFL will declare an “impasse” in negotiations and simply impose draconian conditions that cut player salaries while extending the football season two more games. More work for less pay.

The union has made it crystal clear that they WANT to play. They just don’t want to have massive givebacks when the average NFL team makes $20 million a year in profits.

Now, the NFLPA has taken its fight public. They’ve made a “Let Them Play” tv commercial begging for fan support. Unfortunately for the union, CBS has refused to air the ad. The network claims they don’t want to “take sides” in the current labor dispute

Noted hair-plugged celebrity horndog Jeremy Piven has been gushing about teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus since the two of them worked together recently on a movie.

In fact, Piven has given multiple interviews talking about how tight he and the young Ms. Cyrus are now. Piven has even repeated the claim that after meeting Cyrus he thinks of himself as “an 18-year-old girl.” Or, as the celebrity website Dlisted put it, “an 18-year-old girl trapped in a douchebag” body.

There are even rumors that Piven and Cyrus had sex.

Not only does Memphis Grizzlies guard O..J. take illegal drugs, he’s also a liar. Mayo has blamed a positive drug test on an energy drink he bought “at a gas station.”

Mayo is lying. DHEA, the substance he was caught using, is a major steroid used by numerous athletes in the past to enhance performance. Although available commercially, Dehydroepiandrosterone is not found in ANY energy drink.

So, in addition to being one of the most prolific cheaters in college basketball history, Mayo is now a proven liar and drug cheat as a professional.

Who says it’s tough to find work in this economy?

According to TMZ, Fox Sports and several other media sources, the city of Dallas is some 10,000 strippers short to service customers for the upcoming Pittsburgh Steelers/Green Bay Packers Super Bowl game.

NBC Sports is even offering a helpful how-to guide for young ladies who may want to take their clothes off for pay next weekend. Pro tips include:

* Women wishing to strip must have two valid forms of ID (plus an alien ID card or international work permit if you’re not a U.S. citizen.)

* Once you pick a club to work in (there are approximately 60 strip clubs in the Dallas area) you must pay them $50 for a referral to a private screening company called Bio Verify. You must then physically go to Bio Verify and pick up a permit to work. Bio Verify is located on Manana Road in Dallas.

NBC suggests that women apply for their permits during the daytime since the area Bio Verify is located in is “not very safe” after dark.

Just weeks after ripping Nike shoes on the telecast of the Rose Bowl, ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews has signed an endorsement deal with Reebok.

Running and shoes are such a big deal in Oregon that the state’s top newspaper has a beat writer who covers foot apparel. Allan Brettman of the Oregonian points out that Andrews, during a live Rose Bowl sideline report, delivered a “hit” on Nike shoes. That company is Reebok’s “chief competitor.” Andrews claimed that TCU players were “slipping all over the field.” TCU players wear Nike shoes.

Now, Andrews is PAID to wear Reeboks.
