DAVE NIEHAUS
Hall of Fame baseball announcer Dave Niehaus died Wednesday at the age of 75. Niehaus had been the Seattle Mariners play-by-play announcer since the team’s inception in 1977. He was known for classic catchphrases like:
“My, oh my!”
“Swung on and belted!”
“It will fly, fly away.”
and
“Get out the rye bread and mustard, grandma. It’s grand salami time!”
