Republicans: Asians/Latinos what’s the difference?

June 15, 2012

Maybe this is why Mitt Romney is trailing Barack Obama by 43 points among Hispanic voters.

The Republican National Committe has set up a Spanish-language website designed to lure Hispanic voters. Unfortunately, in what has been called “an embarrassing display of racism”, the Republicans posted a photo of laughing children on the site. Why the controversy? NONE of the children are Hispanic. They’re Asian.

US News and World Report originally spotted the gaffe and pointed out that the stock Shuttercock photo that was used by the Republicans was labled “Thailand,” “Asia,” and “interracial.”

WHY PEOPLE HATE POLITICIANS: REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE’S INSURANCE PLAN HAS “DEATH PANELS” AND PROVIDES FREE ABORTIONS

RNC: THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY PAYS FOR ABORTIONS AND “DEATH PANELS”

Remember this summer when the  Republicans loudly protested a proposal to offer Medicare reimbursement for “end-of-life counseling?” The Republicans said such a provision would lead to “death panels.” Guess what? Yup, turns out that the health plan purchased by the Republican National Committee features “death panels.” The website thinkprogress.org found a passage on the Cigna insurance company’s website that covers topics such as:

“how to talk with “loved ones” about “end-of-life choices” and whether to stop life-prolonging treatment….”

The Thinkprogress “death panel” revelation comes just days after it was revealed that the RNC has been providing abortion coverage to their employees for the past 18 years. So, if you’ve ever donated money to the Republican party or checked “yes” on the box on your tax return donating money for elections, part of that money was used to provide FREE ABORTIONS to Republican committee staffers.

An outraged redstate.com demanded, “Someone at the RNC Must be Fired Over This.” RNC Chairman Michael Steele has promised to change his committee’s insurance policy to prohibit abortion coverage in the future. Naturally, the far-left blogs are insane with glee over the revelations.
