NFL “Bountygate” smoking gun evidence: Saints Dog The Bounty Hunter Power Point presentation

June 19, 2012

ACTUAL SEIZED “DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER” POWERPOINT FROM NEW ORLEANS SAINTS TEAM COMPUTER

Hey, I’m as pro-union as any talk show host there is but DeMaurice Smith and the NFLPA needs to quit expending time and resources defending totally guilty New Orleans Saints players in the NFL “Bountygate” case. Monday, the league held a hearing for suspended Saints players Jonathan Vilma, Tony Hargrove, Will Smith and former Saint Scott Fujita. All four left the appeal hearing early and in disgust.

Vilma and Fujita commented for reporters during the hearing and professed their innocence. Fujita called the hearings unfair and declared there was “no evidence” against he or any other Saints players. Actually, there was a ton of evidence which the NFL gleefully released to a handful of media members. Among the evidence against Saints players:

* Two Saints assistant coaches confessing on tape in league testimony.

* Video of Hargrove demanding “Give me my money,” from another Saints player after he thought he knocked Brett Favre out of a playoff game.

* A Saints team PowerPoint presentation taken from the Saints own computers which details much of the operation and features a picture of reality tv star Dog The Bounty Hunter.

NFL REPORTER SETEVE WYCHE WAS ONE OF SIX MEDIA MEMBERS PERSONALLY SHOWN EVIDENCE AGAINST SAINTS PLAYERS IN “BOUNTYGATE.”

The league also had handwritten memos and notes from various Saints players and officials detailing and confessing to the “bounties” to injure rival players. All of which they leaked to the media. The “mountain” of evidence against the Saints players was so strong that the New York Daily News actually proclaimed Vilma and the Saints “accomplished very little” in their hearing.

QUARTERBACK MARK BRUNELL IS BROKE

MARK BRUNELL

Veteran quarterback Mark Brunell, who just won a Super Ring as a backup with the New Orleans Saints, has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. Brunell has made over $52 million in the past ten years in the NFL.

IS FORMER SCAB SEAN PAYTON ALSO A DRUG ADDICT?

May 2, 2010

WE ALREADY KNOW SEAN PAYTON HAS LOW MORAL CHARACTER-HE WAS AN NFL SCAB QB BACK IN THE ’80S

Super Bowl winning coach Sean Payton of the New Orleans Saints may be the completely innocent victim of an outrageous smear campaign orchestrated by a disgruntled former employee trying to extort money from his former club. Either that, or he’s one of the most highly functioning drug addicts in America.

There isn’t much middle ground.

The Saints former director of security is suing the club. He says the team’s general manager Mickey Loomis covered up the evidence of theft of the narcotic Vicodin from the Saints medical supplies. In his lawsuit, Geoffrey Santini says “two unnamed high-level employees” of the Saints stole the Vicodin.

Payton felt compelled to release a statement Sunday saying he was NOT one the thieving junkies who stole the Vicodin. Although he wasn’t named in Santini’s lawsuit, according to an AP article, Payton was identified by two Saints employees as being allowed to help himself to large quanities of Vicodin from the team stash. Another Saints employee (linebackers coach Joe Vitt) reportedly stole the drug because he was an addict.

The website Pro Football Talk also identified Payton as one of the “senior employees” who is accused of taking Vicodin from the Saints. That site is run by an attorney, Mike Florio. Rest assured, Florio would NOT be running that article unless he was DAMN sure Payton was one of the men accused.

That doesn’t mean Payton did what he is accused of. The lawsuit is an allegation and no criminal charges have been filed. The Saints spin is that Santini is a disgruntled former employee. Santini is a former FBI agent. He says he resigned in 2009 as the Saints director of security after they refused to report felony drug action.

This case may come down to Payton’s word versus that of Santini’s. Here’s what we know. Geoffrey Santini is a highly decorated former special agent with the FBI. He has no known blemishes on his record. Meanwhile, Sean Payton is a scab.

Although it received virtually ZERO publicity during Super Bowl week, Payton started his career as a scab. He was a replacement quarterback for the Chicago Bears during the 1987 players strike.

Then again, maybe the Santini lawsuit WON’T come down to simply his word against Payton’s. Bad news. Vitt is reportedly on security camera tapes stealing drugs. More bad news. Santini reportedly has a TAPE of Payton and Loomis talking about the drugs. Santini reportedly tells the pair they are covering up a felony and is told to “leave it alone.” Santini responds,

“I’d rather get smacked by the league than get indicted by a federal grand jury or a state grand jury. Because if we cover this up, we committed felonies.”

The Saints response? They bounced Santini who “resigned” before the 2009 season.

This story hasn’t received a ton of national publicity, but no less a football authority than Peter King of SI.com says the case may have “dire consequences” for the Saints

This is going to be the longest and greatest Mardi Gras celebration in history.

After 42 seasons filled primarily with embarrassment and futility, the New Orleans Saints are Super Bowl champions. Cornerback Tracy Porter intercepted a Peyton Manning pass and returned it 74 yards for a vital Saints touchdown as New Orleans defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees completed a Super Bowl record 32 passes and was named the game’s MVP in the Saints victory.

IT’S NEW ORLEANS: FORMER QB BOBBY HEBERT IN A DRESS

February 1, 2010

Longtime local radio personality Buddy D once vowed that if the New Orleans Saints ever made the Super Bowl he would wear a dress and “dance through the streets.” He died five years ago, but Sunday his successor on WWL , former Saints quarterback Bobby Hebert, made good on the promise.

Hebert, along with hundreds of other New Orleans men, donned dresses and literally danced in the streets.

“WHO DAT” GETTING SUED? IT’S THE NFL

January 31, 2010

Finally, someone may be standing up to the NFL and their absurd legal claims.

The National Football League has often taken its proprietary rights to absurd levels when it comes to marketing the Super Bowl. From suing churches that televised games to measuring the size of tv monitors at Las Vegas casinos holding Super Bowl parties, the NFL has taken some pretty insane copyright positions over the years.

This week, the NFL started serving cease and desist orders against local merchants in New Orleans implying it held the rights to the popular New Orleans phrase “Who Dat?”

The league even announced it was planning a crackdown on New Orleans shops and vendors who were selling “Who Dat?” t-shirts. This was moderately outrageous since SOMEBODY ELSE had copyrighted the “Who Dat” phrase which started in the 1890’s with a jazz song and minstrel shows.

This is literally the THIRD century that the phrase “Who Dat?” has been used in New Orleans popular culture in association with everything from local bus stops:

bus stop... by JustUptown.

to other local attractions:

When the New Orleans media, including WWL TV, pushed back, Louisiana Republican Governor Bobby Jindall got involved. Jindall has ordered the Louisiana attorney general to look into the possibility of suing the NFL to get them to back off local merchants.

Sunday, Louisiana Senator and noted diaper-wearing sexual deviant David Vitter wrote the NFL a letter DARING them to sue him over his “Who Dat” t-shirt.

* Update: The NFL actually issued an apology for its overly agressive cease and desist order.
